The Blue Note presents guitarist Lee Ritenour with John Beasley - piano; Dave Carpenter - bass; Bill Evans - saxophone and Joel Rosenblatt - drums... Contemporary jazz guitarist and composer LEE RITENOUR, one of jazz's most acclaimed guitar heroes, performs at the Blue Note.
Over the course of his 22-year career, Ritenour has established a reputation for melodic accessibility, innovative performance, and a constant desire to explore new stylistic arenas. His recording and performing efforts are pervaded by a distinctive genre-hopping that extends beyond contemporary jazz to incorporate bluesy, swinging be-bop, reggae influences, classical, and urban music.
