 NEA JAZZ MASTER CHARLIE HADEN
From his beginning as a 3 year old, singing and playing on his family's country music radio show on KWTO in Springfield, MO., Charlie Haden is now, 70 years later, one of America's jazz masters. Recognizing Haden "as a composer with broad stylistic interests and educator of renown," the National Endowment for the Arts rewarded Haden as a 2012 NEA Jazz Master. In 2012, Haden also celebrates the 25th Anniversary of his touring band, Quartet West. Aaron Parks

MILTON NASCIMENTO
One of Brazil's true national treasures, Milton Nascimento has been recognized as one of the world's great voices since the '60's. Mr. Nascimento tours with his 4tet Banda 4, who move effortlessly from samba to African rhythms to jazz. Nascimento's shows are wonders of well crafted musicianship and undeniable energy. Ivan tours with his Quinteto in 2012-2013, and he has decided to go for a more spare, acoustic approach musically that accentuates his Brazilian roots.
