| Tuba Tuba! on tour 28th October - 8th November 2002 The tuba found much attention during the last few years. Bob Stewart and Howard Johnson presented the tuba very popularly in their formations. And in Europe Michel Godard gave the tuba a prominent place in the music.
In TUBA TUBA! Michel Godard meets the american tuba-player and trombonist Dave Bargeron (Blood, Sweat & Tears, George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band etc., recordings with Paul Simon, eric >clapton, Quincy Jones, Miles Davis a.o.). Together they created an hommage to the tuba. "The combination of two tubas with the accordeon of Joe Barbato and the drums of Kenwood Dennard seems strange, but convinces with an astonishing lightness, when you listen to it." Jazzthetik 04 / 02 ***** The tour to the CD (Enja Records) follows in the fall
