New web-based practice resource - www.randomchord.com

| Various articles | 2007-02-21

Hi there,

Just a quick note to let you know about the new internet practice tool developed by Howard Peacock and John Rixon -

www.randomchord.com

It's a web-based utility that combines mp3 backing tracks, chord/scale information, and an optional randomizer to choose a chord for you. Chord types covered include standard major, minor and dominant 7ths, as well as #11, alt, sus and min/maj sounds.

This is the website for anyone who has every felt that their playing is stuck in a rut because they always seem to end up practicing the same old chords, or has a particular chord type they want to work on, or who wants to learn a few more harmonic tricks to keep their soloing fresh.

Please pass this email on to any friends, bandmates or students who might find it useful; and link to it from your own site or MySpace (you can find an official banner and html code to include in your website/myspace at www.randomchord.com/banner.php).

Hope you're well,
Howard and John.
